1. About us

6K Nepal Treks Pvt. Ltd. (“6K Nepal Treks”, “we”, “us”) is a trekking and tour operator registered in Nepal, based at Buddha Chowk, Pokhara-10, Kaski, operating under Government Trekking Guide License No. 1497 and affiliated with the Nepal Tourism Board, the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN), and the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA).

2. Acceptance of these terms

By browsing this website, sending an enquiry, or confirming a booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or are acting with the consent of a parent or guardian) and that you accept these terms.

3. What we provide

We arrange and lead guided treks, hikes, and tours in Nepal, run as private trips on the dates you choose. Trek details, itineraries, altitudes, walking times, and inclusions shown on the site are planning guides and may be adjusted for weather, trail conditions, group ability, and safety.

4. Enquiries, quotes, and bookings

Prices on the site are per person in US dollars and vary by comfort tier and group size. A quote becomes a confirmed booking once we acknowledge it and you pay the deposit. We charge no booking fees, and a deposit of 20% is required to hold your dates, with the balance due as set out in our Booking & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your responsibilities

• Travel and rescue insurance is mandatory. You must hold insurance that covers high-altitude trekking, medical care, and helicopter evacuation. See our Disclaimer.
• Hold a valid passport and the correct Nepal visa, and give us accurate personal details for permits.
• Assess your own fitness honestly and disclose any medical condition that could affect you at altitude.
• Follow your guide’s instructions and respect local laws, customs, and the environment.

6. Acknowledgement of risk

Trekking in the Himalaya carries inherent risks, including altitude sickness, difficult terrain, and remote conditions. You accept these risks as described in our Trekking Risk & Safety Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

7. Changes and cancellations

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Booking & Cancellation Policy. For safety, weather, or events beyond our control, your guide may alter, shorten, or end a route. Where we must change a trip, we will offer a reasonable alternative or a refund of recoverable costs.

8. Intellectual property

All text, photographs, itineraries, and graphics on this site are owned by or licensed to 6K Nepal Treks and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

We take safety seriously and run trips with licensed guides. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss, injury, or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, by your own acts or omissions, or by third parties such as airlines, lodges, and transport providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify 6K Nepal Treks against claims arising from your breach of these terms or your failure to follow reasonable safety instructions.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kaski, Gandaki Province, Nepal.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown here, with the “Last updated” date above, applies to your use of the site. By continuing to use 6K Nepal Treks you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
