Manaslu Region
One of Nepal's last true wilderness treks.
About the Manaslu Region
A restricted-area circuit around Manaslu (8,163m), the world's eighth-highest mountain. Trails wind through remote Nubri and Tsum valleys, cross the exhilarating Larkya La Pass (5,160m), and pass ancient Tibetan Buddhist villages untouched by mass tourism. A trekking permit and registered guide are required, which keeps trail traffic low and the experience refreshingly pristine.
